[tps_footer]Salman Khan fans are in for quite the Republic Day treat, this week. The megalithic superstar is ready with his next cinematic offering, Jai Ho, and rest assured, fans will be queuing up in advance for this one.
It is no surprise that Salman Khan is a box office messiah. A Salman Khan release is nothing short of a monumental occasion for his die-hard fans. They don’t care what the story is, who the director is, what the songs and action is like: they just care about Bhai.
Here’s our list of 5 reasons you must ABSOLUTELY not miss this one (though you won’t really need it, considering you’ve booked tickets already!)…
5. All In The ‘Khan’ daan: Salman Khan’s family is firmly entrenched in the Hindi film industry. His father, Salim Khan is the prolific lyricist, his actor-producer brother Arbaaz just made his directorial debut with Dabangg 2 last year, Sohail is an actor-director in his own right. Sohail directing Salman will be a treat for the Khan family fans, since he has directed him in hits like Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya, and Hello Brother in the past.
4. Stalin again: Jai Ho is an official remake of Telugu blockbuster Stalin, which had starred Chiranjeevi. Salman reprising the role of the Telugu superstar, and remaking a South Indian masala film will surely be a visual treat. There will be action and drama galore, and Salman will fulfil it in his signature, cool-dude style.
3. The Cast: Jai Ho boasts of an enviable, never-seen-before star cast. Starring Salman of course, the film will also see the magnificent Tabu playing his sister, actresses Daisy Shah and Sana Khan playing the female leads, Suniel Shetty and Danny Denzongpa playing the supporting roles. Nadira Babbar, Genelia D’Souza, Ashmit Patel, Mahesh Manjrekar, Aditya Pancholi, Tulip Joshi, Sharad Kapoor, Pulkit Samrat.. they all put in an appearance in the film.
2. Socially Yours: Salman Khan attempting to deliver a social message, while packaging it in the garb of a typical masala potboiler, and we know the Khan brothers have a winner on their hands. With AAP making inroads into the political scene, and the film’s theme being the awakening of the common man, the aam aadmi, fireworks are expected indeed.
1. Salman Khan: We mean, come on. Do you really need another reason? Salman Khan is reason enough to watch this film, as his legions of fans will vouch for. Go on, queue up in line for tickets already! Jai Ho![/tps_footer]
