Here Is Why It Took 109 Days To Shoot Waterfall Sequence In Baahubali ​

WaterfallS S Rajamouli shot the waterfall sequence of his upcoming film Baahubali for 109 days.

The total time that took to shoot this particular sequence was almost equal to 1/3rd of the total shooting time of the film.

This was because it was one of the most important sequences of the film. The waterfall is almost a character in the film. It is pivotal to the fate of the lead actor’s life in the film. It is there from his childhood days till he grows.

The sequence features lead actor, Prabhas. S S Rajamouli was personally involved in the recce of the place since he wanted the perfect location for the waterfall. They shot at 3 different waterfall locations for the sequence.

Baahubali is the first ever Indian film that transcends regional boundaries and has a pan-India appeal.

The film is said to be the most expensive film to be ever produced in the history of Indian cinema. Star cast of the film boasts of a very impressive lineup including actors Prabhas and Rana Daggubati who will be seen playing the role of Baahubali and Bhallala Deva. Baahubali will also see actors Anushka Shetty as Devasena, Tamannaah as Avantika, Sudeep as Aslam Khan, Sathyaraj as Kattappa, Nassar as Bijjala Deva, Ramya Krishnan as Sivagami and Prabhakar as Kalakeya amongst other cast of the film.

Directed by SS Rajamouli, the film has been produced by K. Raghavendra Rao, Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni. Arka Media Works is the Production Company and distributers of Baahubali. National Award winners V. Srinivas Mohan and Sabu Cyril have supervised the amazing visual effects and designed art of the film respectively. The film is set to release in four different languages namely Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam. First half of the film will come out on July 10. Get ready to witness greatness on screen!
