Milind’s character in the movie has delivered some controversial dialogues which has already been talking point among the audience. Milind says, “I play a politician, and if there is any similarity between Raj and my character it’s only because of our schooling, upbringing, a particular political ambition and of course, my look in the film.”

Nagrik marks the comeback of 87-yearold veteran Dr. Shriram Lagoo who plays Godfather-like character to Milind. “We have some intense scenes together. He is the silent sort and his character, much like the film, explores how little we really understand Indian politics thanks to the infotainment news channels offer,” he adds.
