Mumbai: It is the number game once again! Rakesh Roshan’s Krrish was released with 926 prints. Karan Johar is releasing Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna with 900 prints on August 11 all over the world. It is much higher than Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham which released with around 600 prints. “It’s because the format of release is totally different now. The advent of multiplex and the increase in audiences have changed,” says Karan.
The film will be released without the paparazzi and glitter. “Mumbai has had a ghastly experience. To celebrate after the tragedy seems insensitive,” says a spokesperson for Dharma Productions. “But the film will be released on the decided date. The nostalgic moment for Karan is opening his film at Metro. The theatre closed down for repairs will open with KANK.“
