Shekhar Kapoor is not the only Indian director who has his eyes set on Hollywood. His ardent admirer Ram Gopal Varma is also headed west. Ramu is flying to Hollywood to cast his international directorial debut – Within – which will be co produced by Shailender Singh (who is also producing a movie starring Mel Gibson and Colin Farrell).
Sources reveal the movie will be a horror flick and it will be set in an apartment in Manhattan. There are rumours that it’s a remake of Bhoot though Ramu and Singh denied it but agreed that it is a horror movie..
Currently, Ramu is busy with tons of projects. Some of his upcoming movies are Go (Kay Kay, Nisha Kothari), Shiva, Darwaza Bandh Rakho (Aftab, Chunky Pandey, Manisha Koirala), Nishabd (Amitabh Bachchan), Ram Gopal Varma Ki Sholay (Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek, Katrina), Sarkar Sequel (Amitabh, Abhishek) and Time Machine (Shah Rukh Khan, Kareena).
