Subhash Ghai to direct two films

MUMBAI: The showman is all set to announce his next films. Subhash Ghai, whose last directorial venture was Kisna that released on 21 January 2005, will be embarking on his next two movies soon under his own banner. The announcement will be made tomorrow (24 October).


 


Ghai says, “I have been busy with my biggest dream of starting a film institute – Whistling Woods International. Now the school has started functioning and I am once again free to get back to directing films. I am directing two films. I will make the official announcement on 24 October. One is a small film, which will be shot in a month-long schedule. The other one is a bigger one, for which we are still in the planning stages.”


 


Speaking on what rules the box office and sets the cash registers ringning, Ghai says, “Good content and original ideas rule at the box-office.”


 


Ghai has made thrillers and musicals like Kalicharan (1976), followed by Vishwnath, Vidhaata, Karz, Hero, Karma, Ram Lakhan, Saudagar, Pardes, Taal, Yaadein, amongst others.
