Why Is Shah Rukh Khan's Fan Postponed Till Eid?

Recently, Yash Raj Films took to their official Twitter account and made the announcement that the film Fan, starring Shah Rukh Khan has been postponed so that they can complete the never-seen-before VFX. But, now we hear that SRK’s Fan might just release on Eid.

Reportedly, the team of film Fan, SRK, Aditya and director Maneesh Sharma are planning to release their film Fan on September 23, which happens to be Bakri Eid. As the other holiday and festival dates are already booked by other stars. Since Salman Khan has already booked Eid-Ul-Fitr day to release his film Bajrangi Bhaijaan in July. Only other day remaining is Bakri Eid, or else the Fan team will have to sift the release of the film to 2016, something that SRK doesn’t want.

Now that Shah Rukh Khan’s Fan has postponed, Karan Johar’s Brothers, starring Akshay Kumarand Sidharth Malhotra will release on August 14 instead.

Since all the other holiday and festival dates are gone, Bakri Eid could be the day that SRK’s Fan releases. Directed by Manish Sharma, the film tells a story about a middle class common man who looks just like a superstar. SRK plays double role in the film.Fan will be released under the production banner of Yash Raj Films.
