MUMBAI: After signing a 12 film deal with Anubhav Sinha and one film each with Anant Mahadevan and Priyadarshan, Moser Baer has become the next big player in the film production business. After capsizing big players in the movie retail business, Moser Baer seems to have same intentions in the production business too.

It’s learnt that Anant Mahadevan’s next with Moser Baer will start by the end of this year. Mahadevan says, “I have three films Anamika, Agar and Victoria No 203 to finish before I can embark on a new project. Moreover, I’m still undecided about the cast of my next with Moser Baer. But, I am looking at December to start shooting for that,” he adds.

Moser Baer Entertainment CEO Harish Dayani adds, “After acquiring more than 7,500 Bollywood titles and more than 800 Hollywood ones, our repository is definitely impressive. Now, we have decided to focus on film production as well and the coming 14 films is just the start.”
