MUMBAI: Reebok
Reebok India, Director Marketing and Product, Shamim Sajid said, “With an aggressive foray into the lifestyle segment in 2007, we have introduced some top-of-the-line exclusive range in apparel, footwear and accessories in association with some very high-profile fashion personalities like Hollywood actress Scarlett Johansson, famous rap singer Daddy Yankee, the very popular fashion designer Manish Arora, the Chak De girl Sagarika Ghatge and even the latest football-based movie Goal. As we see it, it’s important for us to take significant and effective steps in reminding the consumer of the wide choices that Reebok offers. Reebok Zoom Glam Awards 2007 are, therefore, an initiative through which we hope to reinforce the proposition of being present in both on and off the field products with the consumers”.
The Reebok Zoom Glam Countdown 2007 is an ultimate contest between the who’s who- who’s hot, who’s not; who’s hip, who’s dated; who’s in, who’s out- if they matter in the world of glamour, they are here. Last year, Kareena Kapoor bagged the Most Glamorous Actor (female) award along with John Abraham taking away the Most Glamorous Actor (male) award.
It is a battle of Bollywood celebrities, models, fashion designers, photographers, sports stars and politicians as they compete on the basis of their wow-factor. In its second year there will be 18 awards across 11 categories honouring glamour and flamboyance. This year while the nominee episodes are on air on Zoom, the winners will be crowned in January 2008.
Zoom, Business Head, M.K Anand added, “Reebok Zoom Glam Awards is an annual property on Zoom, instituted successfully last year. The award is a logical extension of the Zoom’s identity of being a Glamour brand. Zoom recognises the fact that people from different walks of life contribute to the Glamour quotient in society. These awards are for the flamboyant stalwarts in the society and Bollywood celebs.”
