MUMBAI: After Disntv joined hands with Shaadi.com, another direct to home (DTH) service provider – Tata Sky has inked an alliance with Bharatmatrimony.com to launch Actve Matrimony.
Actve Matrimony was launched based on consumer research findings that were conducted by Tata Sky and BharatMatrimony. Actve Matrimony will feature 1000 new matrimonial listings every week classified according to multiple languages and communities.
The listings on Actve Matrimony are sourced on an opt-in basis from premium members of bharatmatrimony.com. The advantage of this service over other traditional matrimonial classifieds is that Tata Sky subscribers can access the listings on their TV on a 24×7 basis. Further, they can get the contact details of the preferred listings by sending an SMS request to Tata Sky. The listings will be updated on a weekly basis. All Tata Sky subscribers will be allowed access to this service free of cost.
