Supreme Court Orders Aditya Pancholi To Vacate The Bungalow

Aditya-PancholiThe Pancholi family seems to be entangled in court issues lately. After Sooraj Pancholi is out of the limelight for Jiah Khan’s suicide case, another issue has hit the family hard. The Supreme Court has ordered the Pancholi family to vacate their Juhu bungalow where they are currently residing. The family has to move out of the place by the end of this year, latest till January.

Reports suggest that the bungalow which is situated in Juhu near the Iskcon temple is owned by the Hate family. The Hate family rented the bungalow to Pancholi’s in the year 1960. The bungalow was rented out at the rate of Rs.150 a month.

The Hate family approached the court in the year 1978. The Hate’s initiated the proceedings against the Pancholi’s as they had not paid the rent for six months. However, Aditya Pancholi stated that he did not receive any official letter from the Hate family regarding the same.

The Court had earlier too ruled out Pancholi’s plea to retain the tenancy right over the bungalow and had asked the family to vacate the house by November 5th. Failing to do so, the matter is now in the hands of the Supreme Court which has ordered the Pancholi family to leave the residence by the end of the year.

The Supreme Court also opined that Aditya Pancholi is a big man and can afford a residence for himself and his conduct with the owners is not right. Aditya Pancholi’s son Sooraj Pancholi was also arrested in the year 2013 for Jiah Khan’s suicide case. Sooraj has nevertheless made his debut in the tinsel town with the film ‘Hero’.

With the SC ruling out the decision, the case has finally seen a conclusion after many years.
