MUMBAI: Mahesh Manjerekar has finished shooting his forthcoming film City Of Gold. The film is being produced by DAR Media and this will be the first release under their banner.
As reported earlier by Businessofcinema.com, City of Gold is based on the mills of Bombay and is about the social issues, which came up due to the mill strikes. The movie stars Satish Kaushik and Seema Biswas. Manjerekar is directing the film after a gap of almost four years.
Speaking to Businessofcinema.com DAR Media chairman Arun Rangachari said, “We are very happy that our first film has wrapped up the shooting, the post production work on the film is going on right now. We have completed about 40 % of editing. We will also soon be announcing our second film with Mahesh Manjerekar.”
