MUMBAI: Warner Home Video will soon release Ralph Bakshi’s 1978 animated movie The Lord of the Rings on Blu-ray on 6 April , tying in with Peter Jackson’s The Lord of the Rings: The Motion Picture Trilogy. It will include a new featurette, titled Forging through the Darkness: The Ralph Bakshi Vision for The Lord of the Rings, and a digital copy.

Audio will be Dolby TrueHD 5.1.
