MUMBAI: 92.7 BIG FM’s Chandigarh Station is the official Radio partner for Kings XI Punjab. Cricket expert Arun Lal will be hosting the IPL excitement on air.
Taking forward the innovative offerings, BIG FM has launched a hunt for the voices of Kings XI Mascots Rocky and Ranjit. The selected voices for Rocky and Ranjit will go on air and the winner voices will get to win prizes from BIG FM.
The second phase is called Maidan e King: Sheron ka Sawa Sher; the segment will pick up best ideas to Cheer up the Kings XI team. The listeners will participate by sending SMS. Best ideas will get surprise offerings from BIG FM. Another offering will provide the listeners a chance to win Kings XI merchandise. The segment is called Kaun Banega Sabse Bada Kings XI fan. The residents will get a chance to express all the good thoughts about the Kings XI team and the best sharing will win Kings XI merchandise including IPL match tickets.
Besides this, during the matches, BIG FM RJs will provide live updates of scores right from inside the stadium. A Cheer Squad will join in to support the team. Camp updates will bring in cricket updates from the practice grounds. RJs will speak to the cricketers about various topics touching their professional and personal life.
Tadka Mar Ke will have Lal hosting the show, giving live updates on the matches, predicting the winners of the day and more. BIG FM RJ’s will, at regular intervals, feed in updates from the stadium and share inside stories with the cricketers. Seedhe Tawe Se will give listeners updates from the ground with regards to the ambience, preparation of the match, audience excitement… basically the spirit of IPL. Chauka -Choolha – Chhakka will give listeners a regular update of the matches being played ensuring listeners will never have to miss out on the fun and excitement of the tournament.
