Australian band sings for Heyy Babyy

MUMBAI: Producer Sajid Nadiadwala is currently shooting a Rs 15 million (Rs 1.5 crore) promotional song for his forthcoming film Heyy Babyy.

The music video will feature an all girl Australian band named Girl Band. The four singers Renee Bargh, Renee Armstrong, Jessica Smith and Patrice Tipoki are currently in India to shoot the song. The song and dance style adopted in the video is a fusion of Indian and Australian flavours, claim the singers.

The song, says Nadiadwala, was recorded on 23 February 2007 at the Yash Raj studios in Mumbai, and will be picturised on them at Film City on six sets erected at the cost of Rs 15 million (Rs 1.5 crore), it is learnt.

The English version is being remixed by Akbar Sami, the lyrics have been penned by Anvita Dutt Gunjan and the video will be choreographed by Remo and directed by Sabir Khan. Music for the Hindi version will be composed by Shankar, Ehsaan and Loy.

The shooting of Heyy Babyy concluded on 9 February 2007 after a six week spell in various locations in Australia.
