The host of different activities planned through these five days will give the audience and students great on-ground experience, understanding and learning to pave a way forward into the industry.”

Founder Festival Director Shiladitya Bora added, “We look forward to give you the best cinematic experience.”

At the festival, WWI organized a filmmaking workshop by Raajneeti Screenwriter Anjum Rajabali and Leela Director Somanth Sen. The first of the two part workshop conducted by Anjum focused on Screenwriting. Starting with an idea, he demonstrated how a writer develops a premise from it, and then writes a treatment and finally a fully-developed screenplay. He also illustrated the popular three-act structure used widely in Hollywood to write film screenplays. The second part of the workshop was conducted by Somnath Sen who deconstructed the process of filmmaking. Starting with the screenplay, he explained the processes that come into play and spoke about the people who take the words of the screenplay and turn them into actual images and sounds that make up the final film. At the end of the workshop, the participants were awarded a certificate from Whistling Woods International.
