The overall collection of the film is around Rs 2.75 crore nett (27.5 million), which includes Rs 2.05 crore (20 million) collection alone of East Punjab and Delhi. Sardaarji 2, which revolves around the story of organic farmer Jaggi (Diljit Dosanjh), who leads a simple life at a village in Punjab, has managed to do well in East Punjab and Delhi city. Punjabi film Sardaarji 2 is the highest ever opening film of the year in East Punjab and Delhi city as no Bollywood or Hollywood film has done as well as Sardaarji 2.

Diljit Dosanjh has once again marked himself a notch up by breaking his own records on the first day at the Box Office. In fact, Diljit’s two films Sardaarji 2 and Ambarsariya combining have collected more than any other Punjabi films in East Punjab. Diljit’s Sardaarji had collected had Rs 2.02 crore, Ambarsariya had collected Rs 1.58 crore, Jatt & Juliet 2 had collected Rs. 1.26 crore in East Punjab.[/tps_footer]
