MUMBAI: UM, a division of IPG’s Mediabrands, has reached a new three-year agreement with Sony Corporation of America under which it will continue to serve as media planning and buying Agency of Record in North America for the following Sony entities namely Sony Corporation of America, Sony Pictures Entertainment, Sony Electronics Inc., Sony of Canada Ltd., Sony Music Entertainment, and Sony Network Entertainment.
Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

It is quite an exciting time at UM, and we look forward to delivering marketing excellence and even higher business outcomes for Sony in the next three years," said UM global CEO Jacki Kelley.
UM has served as Sony’s media planning and buying Agency of Record in North America since January 2002.
