MUMBAI: After producing Hindi films like My Name is Khan, Dum Maro Dum and Khichdi: The Movie, Fox Star Studios’ first Tamil film – Engaeyum Eppothum- has now hit theaters.

The movie was released today (16 September) in Chennai, Mumbai and other select markets.

The film is co-produced by A.R Murugadoss Productions and is the first of a two movie deal for co-producing Tamil films between the two production houses.

Engaeyum Eppothum is a romantic film with an ensemble of cast including Jai, Anjali, Ananya and Sharvanand in the lead roles. The film’s story, screenplay, dialogue & direction are by M. Saravanan.

While the film is releasing in 130+ screens in Tamil Nadu, the film will also be released in Bangalore, Andhra Pradesh, Delhi and international markets in two weeks. In Mumbai, the film will open across multiplexes as well as single screens.
