Ever since the new season of Koffee with Karan was announced, we’ve all been waiting breathlessly to see which famous celebrities will make it together on the Koffee couch. Star World and Karan Johar had promised us a cracker of a season and we can’t deny the show has indeed started in a glorious manner.
From SRK and Alia’s witty repartees that opened the show to Twinkle ruling the Koffee couch at her candid best, from Akshay singing a Frank Sinatra song to Varun and Arjun letting lose with their acting skills, the show has truly entertained like none other we have seen yet.
And while we can’t wait to see more, KJo manages to do something no one has been able to do yet in the industry. He brings the two leading actors of the new-gen Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh together on the Koffee couch for the upcoming episode. It’s time to hold on to your seats as the dynamic duo are all set to make their first ever TV appearance together in the 4th episode of Koffee with Karan Season 5 that will air on Star World & Star World HD on Sunday at 9pm.
Bringing the house down with their charming personalities, hilarious banter and enviable wit, Ranveer Singh and Ranbir Kapoor set the ball rolling for one of the most entertaining episodes yet. Karan Johar will be seen grilling the boys on their history with Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh’s padded underwear comment by Shah Rukh Khan and much more. But not to be easily stumped by Karan, Ranbir and Ranveer respond in their truly Besharam and Befikre styles.
Leaving Ranbir and Karan in splits, Ranveer responds to SRK’s padded underwear comment saying, “I’m just like saving them the post-production cost, otherwise, they will have to do VFX on my red chilli.” Ranbir adds his two-bits to Karan’s prodding questions by saying “You get us on this couch and you make us say ‘shit’ – ‘shit, shit, shit, shit’.” He also shared his insights on having “space” in relationships by saying, “If you want space and all, you should join NASA. There is no such thing called ‘space’”.
And just when you thought the episode couldn’t pack more punch, Arjun Kapoor joins the steaming couch in which he gets kissed by Ranbir Kapoor when Karan Johar asked the latter if he has dated any of his friend’s exes. Why does Ranbir plant a kiss on Arjun – now that’s something we can’t wait to find out!
