firangi tera intezaar

Kapil Sharma starrer Firangi is sharing its weekend business with Sunny Leone-Arbaaz Khan starrer ‘Tera Intezaar’.

Kapil Sharma starrer Firangi, which released on December 1, is receiving mixed reviews from the audience and critics. The film that is set in 1921 pre-independent India, started on a poor note at the Box Office. Well, the film has witnessed reasonable growth over its first weekend.

Firangi witnessed the poor opening of around Rs 2 crore net approx on its first day. The film further showed a slow growth and went on to collect Rs 2 crore net approx. on Saturday and Rs 2.50 crore net approx. on Sunday. Thus, its total collection now stands at an estimated Rs 6.30 crore (63 million) net.

The Rajiv Dhingra directorial is doing better In East Punjab and Delhi NCR but despite that, the collections stay low. Going by the weekend growth, Firangi is expected to put decent figures by the end of its first-week run.

On the other hand, Sunny Leone starrer Tera Intezaar, earned Rs 45 Lakhs bet approx. on day one. The film has witnessed no growth over the weekend with collections being Rs 45 Lakhs and 50 Lakhs on Saturday and Sunday respectively. The film has done a total business of around Rs 1.35 crore in three days, which only proves that this kind of cinema is no more working.
