The actor had unveiled the second poster of his film ‘Thaana Serndha Kootam’ which got whopping 113,154 likes and 70,879 retweets.
The actor has beat the likes of B-town stars Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan who also enjoy a massive fan following. These stars are quite active on social media and is quite shocking to know that none of them could win this battle.
Interestingly, Salman Khan’s ‘Tubelight’ was one of the most talked about films of the year. The first poster of Tubelight, which was shared, Salman had received 40,870 likes and 10,000 retweets. Surprisingly, Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees and Harry Met Sejal had also not received this huge response.

The controversial film ‘Mersal’ starring Thalapathy Vijay managed to rake in a whopping 1.7 million tweets. The film mired in controversies over a dialogue on GST.

Mersal went on to earn huge at the Box Office. The film became the only Tamil film to earn Rs 250 crore at the box office worldwide.
