Dhaakad is a high-level spy thriller, releasing on May 20th. It will set a new standard for women in action roles on the big screen. The Star has gone to great lengths to ensure that each look and combat sequence she appears in is better than what international films offer. Ranaut dazzled spectators as Agent Agni with her seven different appearances and multiple combat scenes, conceived and choreographed by international specialists.

Kangana Ranaut will be emphasising her warrior persona with several hairstyles and fighting gear. The actress said, “When Dhaakad came my way, I felt happy to see that someone had dared to visualise a woman in a hardcore commercial film as an action heroine. I’m all for dare-devilry and doing something that pushes the envelope. There’s nothing that does it like a good commercial film.”
Director Razneesh Ghai adds, “A new action star is on the rise, with Dhaakad, Kangana truly becomes the master of disguises. Each look is unique and we’ve never seen Kangana do an action like this before”
The antagonists in the film are played by Divya Dutta and Arjun Rampal, where we see Rampal and Ranaut battling each other. It will be something we have never seen before in the history of Bollywood.
