The three-minute teaser begins with a spooky melody and Tabu’s warning that Manjulika is returning after 15 years. The film, directed by Anees Azmee, is the sequel to the 2007 horror-comedy ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa,’ starring Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan in the prime roles.

Following the publication of the trailer, actress Vidya Balan, who played Avni, a character psychologically possessed by Manjulika, uploaded the upcoming film’s trailer. Vidya’s acting in the film received a lot of appreciation. While Vidya and Akshay are not in the sequel to the saga, the former gave her thoughts on the trailer.

Meanwhile, the teaser promises a perfect blend of horror and humour, with enough scares interspersed with plenty of laughter, leaving spectators excited and curious to learn more. This ghostly comedy extravaganza, produced by Bhushan Kumar and Murad Khetani, is poised to terrify the audience on May 20th on the big screens.

After sharing the trailer, Vidya commented on her Instagram profile, “Congratulations #BhushanKumar and team for this haunted comedy. The trailer looks familiar yet different … Haha!! … can’t wait to experience this roller-coaster ride again #BhoolBhulaiyaa2.”

Rajpal Yadav, who appeared in the original film, reprises his role in the new version.

Since the announcement of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, fans of the original film have been assuming how the sequel will turn out. Will Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani, and Tabu maintain the roles well as from the original, or will something new be introduced?
