MUMBAI: Aamir Khan produced Peepli [Live], which is directed by debutant Anusha Rizvi, will be premiered at the Melbourne International Film Festival, 2010.
The festival will feature Peepli [Live] along with four other Hindi films under a special category called ‘Not Quite Bollywood’.
The festival will be held from 22 July – 7 August, 2010. Peepli [Live] will be screened on 6 August.
Peepli [Live] stars Naseeruddin Shah, Omkar Das Manikpuri, Raghubir Yadav, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Malaika Shenoy.
Director Anusha Rizvi along with the actors of the film and Aamir Khan are expected to be present at the festival for the screening of the movie.
The festival will screen films from over 50 countries over a period of 17 days.
