ABAI animation film festival slated to begin from 5 September

Mumbai: The Association of Bangalore Animation Industry (ABAI) will be holding a two-day animation festival in Bangalore from 5 September. Since its formation three years ago, ABAI has been holding the festival to exhibit the best available technology in the industry. The festival will provide an opportunity for technicians to be aware of the new available technology in the industry and business opportunities. Several companies from different parts of the country will participate in the event.

Noted cartoonist and Magsaysay award winner R K Laxman, Karnataka IT/BT Secretary Ashok Kumar Manoli, Vishwanath Reddy, Proprietor of Chandamama Magazine, and other experts in the field are likely to attend the fest.

The annual ABAI FEST 2008 will be exposing industry professionals to global experts to know their success stories.

Woldwide animation experts will share their experiences in creating global brands out of their humble characters, their passion to tell stories from their heart, the emotions that go into their drawings and the voices that are synonymous with toony super heroes.

Over 1500 professionals from the industry will showcase, interact and provide an impetus to meet the challenges of this growing industry.
