MUMBAI: Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group’s Adlabs Films has a slew of big releases up its sleeves this year.
Starting with Willard Carrol’s Marigold starring Salman Khan, there are several films releasing from the Adlabs banner in the second half of 2007. There is Anubhav Sinha’s multi-starrer action thriller Cash in August followed by Ram Gopal Varma Ki Aag and his sequel to Sarkar, Sarkar Raaj.
Apart from these, Sriram Raghavan’s Johnny Gaddaar, producer Prakash Jha’s two films Khoya Khoya Chand direcred by Sudhir Mishra and Dil Dosti directed by Manish Tiwary, Priyadarshan’s Dhol and Indra Kumar’s Dhamaal are also lined up for release. Towards the end of the year, Viveck Vaswani’s Dulha Mil Gaya starring Shah Rukh Khan, Fardeen Khan and Sushmita Sen and Harry Baweja’s Love Story 2050 – the debut launch of Harman Baweja with Priyanka Chopra will also hit the silver screen.
Adlabs’ foray into regional cinema will be with the release of Kireedam in Tamil with leading stars Ajith and Trisha. Manmohan Singh’s Mitti Awaazan Mardi starring Harbhajan Mann in Punjabi will also release later this year.

Adlabs forayed into international sales and distribution market for Hindi films with the release of Rakesh Roshan’s Krrish in June 2006 and after having established its offices in the UK and US, the company is planning to set up new regional offices to cater to Asia Pacific and MEA markets.
On the domestic distribution front, the company commenced its operations in January 2007 with Guru and has so far released films like Black Friday, Bheja Fry, Spider-Man 3 and Aap Kaa Surroor. Having already established domestic distribution offices in Mumbai, Delhi and Punjab, Adlabs plans to set up pan India distribution network with additional offices in the next few months covering the territories of Rajasthan, Nizam, CI and CP.
