MUMBAI: Adlabs has taken over Novelty Cinema, which is in Grant Road, Mumbai and will now manage and control it.

Novelty Cinema has a seating capacity of 1191 with a capacity of Rs 1,105,647.90 from 21 shows. While in matinee shows, the cinema has a capacity of Rs 98,610.75 from seven shows.

Earlier Adlabs had joined hands with S.N. Patil and Gajendra Patil of Krishna and Radha cinemas respectively in Akola, a prime location in C.P. Berar circuits. Krishna has a seating capacity of 1,180 with a total capacity of Rs. 677,117 from 28 shows while Radha seats 271 patrons with a capacity of Rs 291,107.60.

According to a spokesperson of Adlabs, “Within a couple of years, we at Adlabs are looking to manage and control over 500 cinemas from all over India.”
