Aksh Optifibre inks three-year VoD deal with Eros

MUMBAI: Aksh Optifibre has entered into an agreement for three years with Eros International for the IPTV (Internet Protocol Television) project of the company.
 
The deal has been signed for on an upfront fee plus revenue share basis. Through the agreement, Eros’ Bollywood content will be distributed on A-Tel, Aksh-MTNL’s IPTV platform. 
Eros will provide the filmed entertainment content through VOD (video on demand) and 24 hours Eros branded linear channel of film entertainment, music, videos, new film promos, comedy scenes etc for Aksh-MTNL’s IPTV platform.
The selection of movies will be changed monthly. Subscribers can access the library of Eros movies through SVOD (Subscription video on demand).
 
A-Tel currently has 150 channels accessible to its subscribers.
