MUMBAI: Amitabh Bachchan and Paresh Rawal have been added to the cast of producer Gaurang Doshi’s Happy Birthday, which also stars John Abraham and Aishwarya Rai.
The film, which will roll in January after the completion of Akbar-Jodha, will have another actress, who will be signed on soon.
“I have signed Amitji and Paresh Rawal for Happy Birthday. This will be my third film with Amitji and is going to be the costliest film I have ever produced. The catch-line of my movie will be, ‘Those who don’t believe in magic will never find it.’ However, it’s not a film on magic!†says Doshi.
“Apart from TV18, there are four more companies that have approached me for this venture. Prior to this, I have never tied up with anyone for my films as I finance my films. However, if the terms and conditions suit me, then Happy Birthday will be my first film, which will have tie-up with another production house,” adds Doshi.
Director Shriram Raghavan says, “Aishwarya liked her role and the script so much that she promised to allot me her dates before going to Madhurai, if she finds the time in between the shooting of Akbar-Jodha.â€ÂÂ
