MUMBAI: Filmmaker Sanjay Gupta and Sanjay Dutt’s company White Feathers Entertainment is on a roll with multiple projects in the pipeline with various directors.
Gupta, on the other hand is planning to embark on a film called Alibaug, which he plans to direct. The film will star leading actors from the television industry and will also see Sanjay Dutt in a special appearance.
Confirming the development, Gupta says, “Alibaug is a simple film and is based on a critical phase in my life. I was inspired to make this film on a recent trip to Alibaug with my niece and her friends. Except for Sanjay Dutt in a brief appearance, it has no stars. Instead there is line-up of known television actors.”
“The film is still in the scripting stages and I had to reinvent myself to do it. It will be much lighter than Zinda,” he adds.
