MUMBAI: Anil Kapoor-starrer Slumdog Millionaire will be the closing film of the London Film Festival scheduled to be held from 15-30 October. The movie has been directed by Danny Boyle.
The star cast also includes Irrfan Khan, Madhur Mittal, Freida Pinto and Dev Patel. The movie is based on a novel called Q and A by Vikas Swarup and is set in Mumbai. It is the story of an orphan who finds himself one question away from winning Rs 20 million on India’s Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?
Slumdog Millionaire is slated to release in the UK in early 2009.
