MUMBAI: Director – writer Anurag Kashyap, who has penned dialogues for a number of films as well as scripts for some hit films, has decided to stop writing.

Kashyap’s latest directorial venture Dev D released last month and he is currently wrapping up all his pre-committed writing assignments. His next film Gulaal is slated to release this week.

Kashyap is presently writing Shor for director Goldie Behl (Rose Movies) and dialogues for two films namely Jehaad and a film by Homi Adajania that is being produced by Saif Ali Khan’s production house – Illuminati Films.

Kashyap’s last writing assignment will be for UTV Motion Pictures film titled Gurudutt. Speaking to Businesofcinema.com, he says, "I am not writing anymore, except for Vikram Motwani whenever he does something."

The director’s new TV series titled Raju Ben is soon slated to air on Sony Entertainment Television.
