Arena Animation holds Perspectives Seminar in Delhi

Mumbai: Arena Animation Academy presented ‘Perspectives: A seminar on Animation’ at Siri Fort Auditorium, New Delhi, which was attended by over 2500 students, aspirants and animation enthusiasts.

The seminar was inaugurated by Dr. Kiran Bedi, who inspired audiences with her motivating talk and was able to establish an instant connect with them. She stressed upon the need for constant learning and emphasized that one should aspire to learn something new every day to achieve excellence. She also highlighted the need for students to focus both on learning technical & creative skills, as well as work on developing language skills to communicate effectively.

A host of Animation Industry professionals descended upon Delhi to participate in the symposium. These included. Dhimant Vyas, an independent animation designer, who spoke on the making of Taare Zameen Par title animation sequence. Mandeep Singh, from Rhythm & Hues studios, spoke on the making of Hollywood biggies like The Golden Compass & Alvin & The Chipmunks. Parijat Animation Films Director Atish Tripathi enlightened the students & aspirants alike when he spoke on Creation of Original Content & Opportunities in New Media.

In his inaugural address, Zonal Operations Head – North & West Gurtaj Singh Mangat said – "We believe that outreach is essential for Indian animation. Perspectives is an endeavour by Arena Animation to bring the industry professionals and the student community together on a common platform, which would definitely leave the students with an experience to draw immense benefit from"

Perspectives, which has been held in all major metros and mini metros across the last two years, aims to bring together professionals from the Animation Community on a common platform to share their knowledge, thoughts, views and experiences of the animation Industry with the students, helping then get an insight into the tremendous career options within Animation, VFX and Gaming.
