MUMBAI: Following the release of Good Boy Bad Boy, director Ashwini Choudhry will return to what he is best at- making hard hitting films. In association with K Sera Sera, Choudhry will take on floors a film starring Sunny Deol and Om Puri.
“The film is titled Guru Dakshina. It’s shooting will commence next month onwards in Lucknow for sixty days”, informs Choudhry. The film will be produced by Sunny Deol’s Vijeta Films. This announcement in fact is further to the deal Sunny Deol inked with K Sera Sera last year.
Speaking about the film Choudhry says, “Guru Dakshina is based on a real life story which took place in Ujjain when a professor was murdered by a group of students.” The film has no lady actress in it simply because he did not feel the need to have one. The remaining cast comprises of theatre actors.
Music for the film has been scored Adnan Sami and songs have already been recorded.
