Asian School of Media Studies organizes Japanese Film Festival in Noida

MUMBAI: Asian School of Media Studies, has organized a two-day Japanese Film Festival, in Noida Film City.

 

"It’s not only a film festival, but a cultural exchange between two countries. The Japanese films today are representing my country in this campus of Media Professionals “said Japan Foundation director in India Teriyuki Hoshina.

 

The two days Japanese films Festival will show four films: High and Low- Akira Kurosawa, End of Summer – Yasujiri Ozu, Godzilla- Inshiro Honda and Kill- Kinchi Onomoto. The films represent the culture, tradition and heritage of Japanese cinema, presenting the best in domain of film culture. The screening is also accompanied by workshops by Cinedarbaar, to bring a greater degree of understanding and knowhow of Japanese cinema.

 

Marwah Studios president and chairperson International Film and Television Club Sandeep Marwah, thanked the director of the Japan Foundation for the contribution towards this culture exchanged and presented him with the life membership, of International Film & Television Club of AAFT.
