ASSOCHAM appoints Durga Jasraj as Culture Committee chairperson

MUMBAI: ASSOCHAM has appointed Art and Artistes’ founder Durga Jasraj as the chairperson of its Culture Committee.

Jasraj will be responsible for setting the agenda of the Committee for the year ahead, as well creating and enhancing synergies with ASSOCHAM partners, both in India and abroad with the guidance and assistance of the new ASSOCHAM president Dilip Modi, sr. vice president Rajkumar Dhoot, vice president Analjit Singh, and secretary general DS Rawat, along with all the other Committees and office bearers.

Prior to her current appointment, she was the co-chairperson of ASSOCHAM’s Music Industry Committee in her maiden year at ASSOCHAM, under the leadership of the immediate past president Dr. Swati Piramal.

Jasraj founded Art and Artistes’( A&A) in 1999 to conceptualize, promote and produce music based entertainment solutions across media like television, on ground, radio, albums, digital and mobile amongst others.
