Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge pirated DVDs seized in Mumbai

MUMBAI: The Mumbai Police, on behalf of the film industry, conducted a raid and seized over 6189 pirated DVDs and CDs worth around Rs 4,66,000.

The raid was conducted near the Borivali and Vidhyavihar railway stations. The pirated CDs and DVDs included last week’s release – the Ajay Devgn starrer Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge?, Teen Patti, My Name Is Khan and Toh Baat Pakki amongst others.

Four people Sultan Alam, Mohd Munaji Ansari, Ram Gupta and Sayyed Kammal Khan were arrested during the raid. The accused were booked under sections 51, 52(A), 63, 68(A) of the Copyright Act of 1957.

In the last three months as many as 30 raids have been conducted in Mumbai resulting in seizing goods worth lakhs of rupees.
