MUMBAI: The Film Producers Guild was represented at a recent meeting between visiting Australian Minister of Trade Warren Truss and Indian trade bodies.
The meeting reached a consensus that India and Australia should engage in various mutually beneficial joint activities for both countries. Guild Secretary General Supran Sen, who represented the film industry says, “It was a fruitful interaction and lots of issues pursuing common interests of both countries were discussed.”
Australian High Commissioner John McCarthy was also present on the occasion.
The Guild hopes that the interaction will usher in a new era of co-operation and understanding between the Indian and Australian entertainment industries.
