Villu is an action cum comedy suspense movie starring Vijay, Nayanthara and Vadivelu. The film has been directed by Prabhu Deva, whose last directorial venture Pokkiri (2007) broke all records in the Tamil film industry.
Produced by Ayngaran International, Villu is being released in about 450 screens all over the world. The music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad and was released in December 2008.
It may be recalled that Ayngaran International recently pulled out of Endhiran (Robot) starring Rajnikanth and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. The movie was then picked up by the recently launched Sun Pictures.
