BBC Worldwide Productions brings Wife Bina Life to India

MUMBAI: BBC Worldwide Productions India brings a new show to India called Wife Bina Life.

The show shows how family life is turned upside down when all the women of a community leave home for a holiday and the men remain behind with children. Left alone with their young children and each other for company, are the men able to step-up to the challenge? Wife Bina Life is a  partnership between  BBC Worldwide Productions  and Star Plus.

Myleeta Aga BBC Worldwide Productions India general manager and creative head says, "Wife Bina Life is a breakthrough concept that has never been seen before on Indian television. It involves entire families, real people and reflects the change in attitude and perspective towards family that is happening in our culture. We are thrilled to be working with Star Plus to bring this globally successful format to India."

The show is based on the original format titled The Week the Women Went. This has been licensed internationally by BBC Worldwide and has already been sold to Germany (RTL2), Sweden (SVT), Belgium (VRT), Canada (CBC), Denmark (TV2), Norway (TV2), Finland (YLE) and Holland (SBS).
