Mumbai: Finally, after a long hiatus, the Salman Khan and Shilpa Shetty starrer Shaadi Karke Phas Gaya Yaar will hit the marquee on August 4 all over. The music of the movie was released long time ago. The promos were taken off air after a brief stint, but the release of the film was postponed time and again from past three years.
But now its presenter Bharat Shah who has confirmed that the movie would be released on August 4. Bharatbhai feels that the delay in the movie’s release would not affect its run at the box-office. “The film will be a fresh one for the audiences,” he says. Shaadi Karke Phas Gaya Yaar has Salman Khan playing Ayaan, a young robust dynamic and handsome man from an upper middle-class family. Shilpa Shetty plays a beautiful model Ahana, who belongs to a very liberal ultra rich family.
The budget going hay-wire…. Shah confirms in affirmation, “It’s obvious that the budget do increases. Bubby Kent, the producer is the best person to reveal it.”
He further adds, “The film has been sold all over. My distribution firm will release it in Bombay. Probably I will lose Rs. 4 to 5 lakhs in all territories. But I am trying to release with 400 to 500 prints all over and that should turn over the tide. In Overseas I will be releasing with 150 prints.”
This is director K.S. Adhiyaman second Hindi directorial venture. Even his first one Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam was released after many hiccups earlier. It was a much bigger hit in U.K. than in India. Shaadi Karke Phas Gaya Yaar co-stars Reema Lagoo, Mohnish Behl, Asif Sheikh and Shakti Kapoor. This is the fourth time of Shilpa Shetty and Salman have been paired together after Auzaar, Phir Milenge and Garv.
