MUMBAI: All three actor members of the Bachchan family will star in A B Corp Ltd’s Johnny Walker, which is being made in association with Percept Picture Company.
The film is to be directed by Soojit Sircar, who has previously directed Yahaan. Johnny Walker, it is reliably learnt, will feature all the actors in the entire Bachchan clan, including Amitabh, Jaya and Abhishek Bachchan. Vidya Balan is reportedly playing the female role and is cast in a double role.
Sircar acknowledges that he is making the film. “Amitabh Bachchan is playing a major role and he is actively taking interest in the scripting of the film. He is the chief protagonist. Abhishek Bachchan and the other actors have not yet been finalised,” he says.
Percept chief executive officer Preet Bedi says, “We are doing Johnny Walker with A B Corp, but the details can only be divulged after 10 days.”
After Bunty Aur Babli, Sarkar and Kabhi Alvida Na Kehnaa in which Bachchan senior and junior appeared together, Johnny Walker seems to be the next venture they will share screen space once again.
