MUMBAI: Reliance Television has appointed Arup Gopikrishna to lead distribution for the coming up slate of TV channels starting with the BIG CBS relationship.
In this capacity, Gopikrishna will be responsible for the market penetration by entering into strategic distribution alliances with MSOs, DTH operators, and commercial establishments.
Gopikrishna joins BIG Broadcasting from Pacenet where he was the business head. He will be reporting to BIG Broadcasting COO Ashutosh.
Ashutosh said, "We welcome Arup on board and are optimistic that his domain expertise and past experience will help add great value to our efforts. He will be overseeing distribution of all the channels of BIG CBS Networks at a national level."
Prior to his stint at Pacenet, Gopikrishna has worked with brands like Zee-Turner, Walt Disney International, Zee Network and TV Today Network.
