MUMBAI: BIG Home Video and Universal Pictures have released The Soloist on DVD and VCD.
Directed by Joe Wright, the film stars Jamie Foxx and Robert Downey Jr. The film is based on a true story of a disenchanted journalist’s transformative odyssey through the hidden streets of Los Angeles, where he discovers and builds a most unlikely friendship with a man from those same streets, bonding through the redemptive power of music.
The marketing initiatives for this title include a promo of The Soloist to be played on 5000 screens for a period of 15 days. Mailers to be sent out to the agencyfaqs, exchange4media databases including Rhythm House & the Western Classical Connoisseurs’ Club. A special feature will also appear in the NCPA newsletter for their members.
The DVD of The Soloist is priced at Rs.499 while the VCD is priced at Rs 199.
