Boney Kapoor to embark on No Entry 2

MUMBAI: Sequels are surely the order of the day in Bollywood. Going by the success of their films, more and more producers are now launching sequels. After the likes of Rakesh Roshan and Firoz A Nadiadwala, now producer Boney Kapoor has decided to go the sequel’s way.


Plans are to make a sequel to No Entry, which had Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, Fardeen Khan in lead roles. The film, directed by Anees Bazmee was the only hit of the year 2005, which grossed around Rs 500 million (Rs 50 crores). The sequel to No Entry will also be directed by Bazmee.


Confirming the development to Businessofcinema.com, Bazmee says, “Boney Kapoor has signed me on to direct the sequel of No Entry. I have already started working on the script and am planning to cast Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor and Fardeen Khan in the lead roles again. The budget of the movie will be much bigger than the first one which was around Rs 170 million (Rs 17 crores).”
