MUMBAI: Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s much touted ‘Ferrari Ki Sawaari’ has lost revenue on the weekend thanks to a rock steady run taken by Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Rowdy Rathore’ .
Collecting in the range of Rs 95 million (Rs 9.50 crore) net this weekend, ‘Rowdy Rathore’s 17 day total has touched approximately Rs 1195 million (Rs 119.50 crore) net. This has drastically cut down the business for ‘Ferrari Ki Sawaari’, which, after a poor first day, has collected an average Rs 120 million (Rs 12 crore) net as three day total business.
Monday, Day 4, has been even more of a struggle for ‘Ferrari Ki Sawaari’ since collections have dropped down by 35%.
