MUMBAI: TThe big question on everyone’s mind , will SRK’s Don 2 break the opening weekend box office record for Ra.One & Bodygaurd. With the second largest release including the 3 D version and the Tamil Telgu version, it still looks difficult for Don 2 to break the opening weekend record.
The advance is good although its not comparable to Bodyguard and Ra.One which had sold much more tickets in advance though is multiplexes the advances are strong.
A few reasons why this looks difficult is that the music has not had such a good fare , also family audiences may not come for Don 2 as they did for Ra.One and Christmas this year falls on Sunday so the additional holiday revenues will not be there.
Don 2 is sure to have a flying start though and will find a place in the Top 10 highest opening weekend collections but it will be very difficult for it break the previous records.
