MUMBAI: The Censor Board has given a U/A certificate to Madhur Bhandarkar’s Jail.
The Censor Board has asked for seven cuts in the film and have also asked them to further blur Neil’s already blurred nude scene.
Bhandarkar was unavailable for comment as he is busy promoting Jail all over India along with his cast. They are at present in Bangalore and will be travelling to Hyderabad, Delhi, Kolkatta and Patna. However his spokesperson said, "Yes, we have got a U/A certificate for the film. The censor board has asked us to delete seven dialogues in the film."
Jail has been directed by Bhandarkar and stars Neil Nitin Mukesh, Mugda Godse, Manoj Bajpai and Arya Babbar among others.
The film is scheduled to release on 6 November, 2009.
