[tps_footer]This week’s two big releases Manish Paul’s ‘Tere Bin Laden – Dead Or Alive‘ and Manoj Bajpai and Rajkummar Rao’s ‘Aligarh‘ were already talk of the town before the films hit the screens today on February 26. The two big films with two different genres have hit the theatres today and have opened up to a very less response with collections not even reaching 10%. Capital city Delhi has opened up with none while big cities like Hyderabad, also had bad opening.
Manoj Bajpai and Rajkummar Rao’s ‘Aligarh‘ trailer had received unstoppable reviews before the release, which is based on heartbreaking and powerful story of Professor Siras, a prolific teacher who faced abject humiliation and persecution at the hands of university authorities and other citizens for being a gay.
On the other hand, Manish Paul starrer ‘Tere Bin Laden – Dead Or Alive‘ is a complete different genre film to ‘Aligarh‘. ‘Tere Bin Laden – Dead Or Alive‘, is a comedy film and a sequel to the 2010 film ‘Tere Bin Laden‘.
With very dull opening on Friday, the two films are expected to run well on the weekend on the basis of rave reviews for the trailers. With strong storylines, the films might make benefits on the weekend.
Sonam Kapoor‘s Neerja continues to rule the Box Office even on its eight day. The film, which showcases the real story of Neerja Bhanot, sees a major pick up.
Apart from ‘Aligarh‘ and ‘Tere Bin Laden – Dead Or Alive‘, other Bollywood films Jab Tum Kaho, Love Shagun and The Best Seller have also released, but the collections were of no great concern.[/tps_footer]
